Circle the City is blessed with philanthropists of all ages who regularly give gifts of “time, talent, and treasure” to make life better for our patients. Two of our youngest supporters, Pravneet Chadha (age 12) and his older brother Hurshneet Chadha (age 15) discovered the joy of giving through Project Smile AZ, a program they created to bring cheer to COVID-19 patients.
Since April, the Peoria siblings have created more than 1,000 handmade “Kind Cards” for patients here at Circle the City, as well as hospitals throughout Maricopa County. The cards come in all varieties and colors, and feature uplifting images and messages, like a drawing of their family puppy and “stay pawsitive.” Our patients loved the cards, as much as we loved learning from their Mother that they are committed to making 50 cards each month for Circle the City. If you could see our faces, you’d know that Project Smile AZ is accomplishing its mission.
