Donations for those healing from homelessness
A Circle the City friend and supporter, Mary Beck knits slippers for our respite patients. Patients come to our medical respite center to heal from wounds and illnesses after leaving the hospital with their condition many times worsened by their living situations on the street, parks, or encampments.
Many homeless individuals feel forgotten and disregarded. However, Mary’s slippers remind them that they are loved and have someone rooting for their recovery and well being.
Mary’s knitted slippers are one of the In Kind donation items that directly benefit the patients but also our organization. We are eternally grateful for this community that helps spread awareness of our mission and values.
