Love….sweet love. Songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David composed the song “What the World Needs Now” back in 1965 and today, all of us at Circle the City believe their lyrics perfectly expresses what the global response to the COVID-19 crisis must be: LOVE.

What our homeless and dear neighbors need is love, not judgment. They deserve caring, not shunning. Collectively, all of us should be sharing, not hoarding, for the homeless have so little, yet appreciate anything and everything so much.

Now, more than ever, men, women and children experiencing homelessness need our sweet love to help them to survive—the coronavirus crisis and beyond. Imagine facing homelessness and cancer… a plight shared among our patients. Consider a homeless man who struggles with diabetes and a gaping foot wound….on the streets. Think about an elderly woman, homeless and with asthma, with no safe space to store her medication.

Circle the City needs your love and your selfless donations of money and goods to help us meet the increasing demand of our homeless COVID-19 positive patients.

There is never “too much” love….only too little. Please respond with your love by donating today at www.circlethecity.org.
