Health Care for the Homeless Clinic and Staff

Our Services

Overview

The activities and programs of Circle the City have historically been determined by the unmet needs of clients receiving primary medical services through Maricopa County’s Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Program. The federal grant that funds the Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) Clinic covers primary medical care and case management services. These services are provided in the Clinic Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis, and in all areas of the Valley through the Clinic’s medical outreach program. All services are provided at no charge to the client. Approximately 5,900 homeless individuals receive services through the HCH Program annually, representing about 26,000 encounters.

Circle the City currently provides financial assistance for homeless clients in the following major program areas:

All homeless clients assisted by Circle the City are actively case managed through the HCH Program. Circle the City does not accept direct referrals from the public.

Circle the City’s offices are co-located with the Health Care for the Homeless Program in downtown Phoenix as part of a large Human Services Campus, which offers a broad array of services and programs for persons experiencing homelessness.
